Sergio Villanueva Baselga is an Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona in the Faculty of Information and Audiovisual Media. He holds a Ph.D. in Communication and Information Studies from the University of Barcelona. His research centers on participatory filmmaking as a means of social change, exploring participatory video, citizen and community media, science communication, and gender studies through a multidisciplinary approach. He also examines how media and culture shape social determinants of health, stigma narratives, and collective identities. Villanueva Baselga has been involved in various academic and research initiatives, including international conferences, publishing in media and cultural studies, and teaching innovation projects at the University of Barcelona. He teaches the Coursera course "The entrepreneur's guide for beginners" and has received positive learner feedback for his teaching style.

Aïda Bravo Almirall is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Information and Audiovisual Media at the University of Barcelona, where she joined the Business Department in 2007. Her expertise focuses on entrepreneurship education, institutional innovation, and university-business relations. She has been actively involved in initiatives that bridge academic theory with startup incubation, including practical business plan development and technology commercialization. She previously served as a business developer at StartUB! (formerly Barcelona Institut d’Emprenedoria) and currently contributes to the Innovation and Knowledge area at 3Cat.
