Moran's extensive background includes roles in executive coaching, internal communication, marketing communication, and technical writing for major Fortune 500 companies such as Electronic Data Systems (EDS), Nortel, Alcatel, and Xerox. She has developed and implemented communication strategies in global business environments, enhancing her students' abilities to communicate effectively in professional settings.Moran holds a Ph.D. in humanities from the University of Texas at Dallas and has taught English both full-time and as an adjunct professor. Her courses at Rice University focus on interpersonal and oral communication skills for engineering leaders, equipping students with essential tools for effective communication in their careers.
