Beata Krupa is a Lecturer in Professional and Engineering Communication at the Rice Center for Engineering Leadership (RCEL). With over 15 years of experience, she specializes in teaching leadership communication, including courses on interpersonal, intercultural, crisis, and new media communications. Dr. Krupa has also played a significant role in designing and teaching a fully online Master in Business Communication program. Before joining Rice University, she taught leadership communication courses at several institutions, including the Jessie H. Jones Graduate School of Business and New York University. She earned her Ph.D. in Culture and Communication from NYU.Dr. Krupa's expertise extends to developing effective communication strategies tailored for engineering leaders, focusing on skills such as oral communication, interpersonal relationships, and writing proficiency. Her courses aim to equip students with the necessary tools to navigate complex communication challenges in professional settings, enhancing their ability to lead effectively in diverse environments. Through her work at RCEL, she contributes to fostering strong communication skills that are essential for success in engineering and leadership roles.
