Northeastern UniversityDr. Yusuf Ozbek is a Teaching Professor in the Information Systems Program at Northeastern University, where he has been teaching since 2007. He holds a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Engineering from Northeastern University, as well as MS degrees in Engineering Management and Computer Systems Engineering from the same institution. Dr. Ozbek teaches various courses, including Web Programming, Program Structure and Algorithms, and Database Design, and his research interests encompass machine learning, information storage and retrieval on the web, distributed applications, and big data systems. He has received the Martin W. Essigman Outstanding Teaching Award in 2017 for his contributions to education.
