Yael Grushka-Cockayne

Yael Grushka-Cockayne is an Associate Professor of Business Administration at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business, where she specializes in forecasting, project management, and strategic decision-making. She holds a B.Sc. from Ben-Gurion University, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and a Ph.D. from the London Business School. Grushka-Cockayne has received multiple teaching awards, including the Darden Morton Leadership Faculty Award and the University of Virginia's All University Teaching Award. She teaches core courses such as Decision Analysis and an elective on Project Management, as well as leading the open enrollment course Project Management for Executives. Her research has been published in various academic journals, and she is actively involved in consulting for international firms in the aerospace and pharmaceutical sectors. Grushka-Cockayne is also an Associate Editor at Management Science and a member of several professional organizations, including INFORMS and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
