Tim Shaw is the inaugural Professor of eHealth at the University of Sydney and serves as the Director of Research in Implementation Science and the eHealth Group (RISe), as well as the Director of Research and Workforce Capacity at the Digital Health Cooperative Research Centre. An internationally recognized authority on the impact of technology in healthcare, Tim focuses on translating evidence into practice and policy. His research interests lie at the intersection of implementation science and quality improvement, exploring how digital transformations and health data can enhance practice, professional development, and system improvement. Tim has collaborated with leading organizations, including the Australian Digital Health Agency, eHealth NSW, the Australian Commission for Safety and Quality in Health Care, the World Health Organization (WHO), and the International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua). He annually teaches on the Harvard Macy program for Innovation in Healthcare and Education and has served as an advisor to various esteemed institutions, including the Institute for Healthcare Improvement and Partners Harvard Medical International. Tim is dedicated to enhancing the digital health capabilities of the healthcare workforce through integrated digital health curricula and research initiatives.
