Dr. Morris Thomas serves as the Assistant Provost for Digital and Online Learning and Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching, Learning and Assessment (CETLA) at Howard University. His expertise spans multiple areas, including teaching in the School of Business and School of Education. He holds a Ph.D. in higher education administration from Morgan State University, along with multiple master's degrees in educational policy, instructional technology management, and classical vocal performance. His contributions to education include developing the E.N.H.A.N.C.E. Learning Model and "The W.H.O.L.E. Experience" framework for addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion in learning environments. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Quality Matters Master Reviewer, he leads the Project Management Essentials course on Coursera, which has enrolled over 20,000 students. His leadership extends to serving on various advisory boards and as Chair of the Quality Matters Academic Advisory Council, while maintaining active involvement in research focused on instructional dynamics and course design
