Marc H. Meyer is the Robert J. Shillman Professor of Entrepreneurship and Matthews Distinguished Professor at Northeastern University, where he founded the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Group in the D’Amore-McKim College of Business. Under his leadership, Northeastern's program achieved top national rankings, and the Center for Entrepreneurship Education, which he directs, has helped launch nearly 100 companies, raising over $750M in venture capital. An internationally recognized scholar in innovation, Meyer has authored seminal works on product platforms and corporate growth, and his books and research have influenced managers and organizations worldwide. He also leads initiatives such as the NSF I-Corps Site program, helping engineers commercialize lab technologies. Meyer's impact extends to mentoring in South Korea, serving as a Master Mentor for the national Mentoring Association. As an entrepreneur and innovation consultant, he has co-founded multiple ventures and advised major companies like IBM, HP, and P&G. He holds degrees from Harvard and MIT and has held visiting professorships globally.
