Stanford UniversityMagali Fassiotto, Ph.D., serves as Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Diversity at Stanford Medicine, where she directs programs focused on faculty advancement, professional development, and diversity initiatives. After earning her undergraduate degree in Economics from Harvard University and Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Stanford Graduate School of Business, she built her career in organizational research and strategic program design. Before joining Stanford Medicine, she worked as a researcher at the National Bureau of Economic Research and as a consultant at Ernst & Young and Investor Group Services. In her current role, she leads workshops on leadership in academic medicine, effective mentorship, team building, and inclusive practices while overseeing the integration of diversity and inclusion initiatives across Stanford Medicine. Her research contributions span faculty development, unconscious bias, leadership, and organizational identity, with numerous publications advancing understanding of faculty diversity and professional development in academic medicine.
