John Borghi

Dr. John Borghi serves as the SADR/CTSA Data Management Project Manager at Stanford School of Medicine's Senior Associate Dean Research Operations, bringing his expertise in cognitive neuroscience to academic librarianship. After earning his Ph.D. in Integrative Neuroscience and MA in Psychology from Stony Brook University, along with a BA in Psychology from Clark University, he has established himself as a key figure in research data management and instruction. At Stanford's Lane Medical Library, he manages the Research and Instruction team, coordinating essential education and outreach activities. His teaching portfolio includes specialized workshops on research data management, focusing on NIH Data Management and Sharing Plans, research workflows, and standard operating procedures. As a Certified Software Carpentry Instructor, Borghi has contributed significantly to Stanford's research community through his expertise in data management practices and research methodology.
