Jason White

Dr. Jason R. White is an Associate Professor of Teaching in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of California, Davis, where he has been a faculty member since 2015 after earning his Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut. He specializes in chemical process design, process safety, and bioseparations, and is known for his commitment to enhancing student learning through innovative teaching methods.Dr. White has received multiple accolades, including being voted "Professor of the Year" by his students on three occasions. His research interests focus on improving process safety education and developing project-based learning experiences that prepare students for real-world challenges in chemical engineering.
