Her impressive academic foundation was built at Bocconi University, where she earned both her Business Administration degree and PhD in Business Administration and Management. Her career trajectory includes significant roles as Research Manager at the Center for Global Innovation at USC's Marshall School of Business from 2007 to 2008, followed by a position as Assistant Professor at Michigan State University from 2008 to 2012. As a respected scholar, Rubera's research expertise encompasses Business Analytics, Social Media Marketing, Innovation and New Product Development, Strategic Marketing, and Design Innovation and Creativity. Her influence in academia extends through her role as Director of the online program "Fundamentals of Python" and her teaching of Social Media Marketing in the MBA full-time program at SDA Bocconi.
