Eric Knight

Eric Knight is a Professor of Strategic Management at Macquarie Business School and an Honorary Professor at the University of Sydney Business School, where he specializes in corporate strategy and regional innovation through the lens of social practice theory. With extensive publications in high-profile journals such as the Strategic Management Journal and Regional Studies, he has garnered multiple awards and fellowships, including a prestigious Fulbright fellowship at Stanford University. In addition to his research contributions, Eric is dedicated to management education, having received the Dean’s Citation for Outstanding Teaching multiple times. He leads the ‘Design Strategy’ unit in the University of Sydney’s MBA program, a capstone course that bridges corporate strategy and engineering design, fostering strong connections with industry and government partners, and contributing to numerous spin-offs and corporate entrepreneurship initiatives.
