Stanford UniversityDr. Christiane Klinkhardt served as a Visiting Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine from 2019-2020. After completing her medical education at Paracelsus Medical University in Salzburg, Austria in 2014, she developed expertise in anesthesiology and medical education. During her time at Stanford, she made significant contributions to research on anesthesia practices, particularly through her work on juvenile idiopathic arthritis patients and neuromuscular monitoring. She co-authored important publications including a comprehensive review on anesthesia for patients with juvenile idiopathic arthritis in The Open Orthopaedics Journal and developed CME activities focused on neuromuscular monitoring for anesthesia care providers. Currently, she serves as a Resident Physician in Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at Unfallkrankenhaus in Berlin, Germany, where she continues to advance medical knowledge and practice in anesthesiology.
