Bhavika Behal has an M.Phil. (Master of Philosophy) in Modern South Asian Studies from the University of Cambridge. Her M.Phil. thesis explored the evolution of photojournalistic images by highlighting patterns of continuity in the visual constructions of violence-prone regions in India by colonial and post-colonial regimes. Her current research interests revolve around questions of the representation of minorities through visual mediums such as photographs, films, and documentaries.
