Peter Frumkin is a Professor of Social Policy at the University of Pennsylvania, where he also directs the Master’s in Nonprofit Leadership Program and serves as Faculty Director of the Center for High Impact Philanthropy. His research and teaching focus on nonprofit strategy, philanthropy, and social entrepreneurship. Frumkin has authored several influential books, including On Being Nonprofit and Strategic Giving: The Art and Science of Philanthropy, which delve into effective practices within the nonprofit sector.This spring, he will release a new book titled Building for the Arts: The Strategic Design of Cultural Facilities, addressing the challenges faced by cultural institutions during capital construction projects. Before joining Penn, Frumkin was a Professor of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin and has taught at Harvard University. He holds a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Chicago. Through his courses, such as "Arts and Culture Strategy" and "Social Impact Strategy: Tools for Entrepreneurs and Innovators," Frumkin aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to drive social change through effective nonprofit leadership and philanthropy.

Russell Willis Taylor is a lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Social Policy & Practice and the former President and CEO of National Arts Strategies, a position she held from 2001 until 2014. With extensive experience in the arts sector, she previously served as Executive Director of the English National Opera and has held various managerial and board roles in both commercial and nonprofit organizations. Taylor has been recognized for her significant contributions to the arts, receiving the Garrett Award for outstanding achievement in the arts in Britain and the International Citation of Merit from the International Society for the Performing Arts.In addition to her teaching role, she is actively involved in numerous advisory boards, including those for the University Musical Society at the University of Michigan and the Salzburg Global Seminar. Her course, "Arts and Culture Strategy," focuses on strategic planning within cultural organizations.
