With a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Maryland, Dr. Brown's research focuses on corporate financial reporting, strategic disclosure practices, and the behavioral biases affecting capital markets. She has published extensively in leading academic journals and has received numerous accolades for her contributions to education, including the Lester H. McKeever Outstanding Leader in Advancing Diversity Award from the Illinois CPA Society.
