Riko Eksteen serves as Head of Desktop Strategy at Adaptive Financial Consulting, where he combines 20 years of technology and financial services expertise with leadership in open-source standards development. After completing his education at Stellenbosch University and the University of Cape Town, he has established himself as a key figure in financial desktop interoperability through his work with the Financial Desktop Connectivity and Collaboration Consortium (FDC3). As co-chair and lead maintainer of the FDC3 project at FINOS, he played instrumental roles in the development of versions 1.0, 1.1, and 2.0 of the standard, focusing on enabling seamless workflows between financial applications. His contributions include developing the first FDC3 training course for Linux Foundation, co-authoring technical specifications, and championing interoperability solutions that have been implemented at major financial institutions. Through his leadership at Adaptive and involvement with FINOS as a silver member organization, he continues to advance desktop integration strategies while promoting open standards across the financial industry.

Sebastian Moser serves as Lead Developer at Adaptive Financial Consulting, where he combines over a decade of software engineering expertise with specialized knowledge in financial desktop interoperability. His work focuses on implementing FDC3 standards across desktop and web platforms, contributing significantly to cross-platform integration solutions in financial technology. As a key contributor to the FDC3 ecosystem, he co-developed the first FDC3 training course for the Linux Foundation alongside Riko Eksteen and Ivan Falanga, helping to establish educational standards for financial desktop interoperability. His expertise extends to scaling UI services, particularly through React-RxJS implementations, while maintaining his role in advancing FDC3 adoption across the financial industry. Through his technical leadership at Adaptive, he continues to shape the development of interoperable financial applications while contributing to open-source standards that drive innovation in financial technology.
