Hubo Cai is a distinguished dual-appointment professor at Purdue University, serving both in the Lyles School of Civil Engineering and the Division of Construction Engineering and Management. His academic journey began at Tongji University, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management Engineering in 1998, followed by MS and Ph.D. degrees in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University in 2002 and 2004 respectively. As a Professional Engineer (P.E.), he has established himself as a leading expert in engineering informatics, multimodal sensing, building information modeling, and artificial intelligence applications in construction. His research integrates cutting-edge technology with traditional civil engineering practices, focusing on advancing the field through digital innovation and smart construction methodologies.

Construction Technology and AI Researcher

Yuxi Zhang is a doctoral candidate in the Lyles School of Civil Engineering at Purdue University, specializing in advanced construction technologies. Her academic journey includes a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management Engineering from Tianjin University (2016) and a Master's in Civil Engineering from Purdue University (2019).
