A unique feature is the opportunity to join Postdoc Academy Learning Sessions (PALS), allowing for deeper engagement with course material and networking with other postdocs. Developed with funding from the National Institutes of Health, this course is specifically designed to address the unique needs of postdoctoral researchers across various disciplines.

Dr. Sarah Chobot Hokanson is the Assistant Provost of Professional Development and Postdoctoral Affairs at Boston University, where she leads initiatives to support the career development of doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers. With a PhD in biochemistry and molecular biophysics from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Hokanson brings both scientific expertise and a deep understanding of academic career paths to her role.
