Thomas Hay

Thomas Hay serves as Head of Developer Relations at ConsenSys, where he leads efforts to empower developers through blockchain education and practical learning resources. As a Senior Technical Trainer and Director at ConsenSys Academy, he plays a pivotal role in the Blockchain Developer Program Bootcamp, an intensive 11-week course that provides comprehensive training in Ethereum development. His unique background combines technical expertise from his MIT education in Materials Science & Engineering and Political Science with experience in management consulting and K-12 education. Hay's journey into blockchain began through his work with student data, leading him to join ConsenSys as a Product Manager on the Academy team. His current role focuses on creating accessible learning pathways for developers entering the blockchain space, leveraging his background as an alumnus of the Strategic Data Project to develop data-driven educational approaches. At ConsenSys Academy, he oversees the development of curriculum that includes hands-on projects, interactive exercises, and mentorship opportunities for aspiring blockchain developers.
