Thomas Hartung is the Doerenkamp-Zbinden Chair for Evidence-based Toxicology with a joint appointment in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He also serves as a Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Konstanz, Germany. As the Director of the Centers for Alternatives to Animal Testing (CAAT) at both institutions, he leads initiatives aimed at advancing non-animal testing methods and promoting evidence-based toxicology.
