Dr. Teresa K. Woodruff serves as Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at Michigan State University, where she leads academic programs, research, and outreach, collaborating with faculty and student leaders to uphold instructional and scholarly excellence. An internationally renowned biologist and pioneer in reproductive science, she coined the term "oncofertility" to integrate oncology and fertility preservation. Previously Dean at Northwestern University, Woodruff has championed NIH policies for gender inclusion in research and holds 17 U.S. patents. Honored with numerous awards, including the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science Mentoring and the Endocrine Society’s Auerbach Laureate Award, she is a fellow of several prestigious academies and author of over 400 scientific publications. Woodruff is also civically engaged and holds honorary degrees from Bates College and the University of Birmingham School of Medicine.
