Stephanie Caporaletti brings extensive academic and professional expertise to her role as Program Manager and Instructor at Johns Hopkins University's Whiting School of Engineering. With dual master's degrees in Technical Management from Johns Hopkins and Biological Resources Engineering from the University of Maryland, she has been teaching graduate courses in Engineering Management since 2015, specializing in Strategic Communications and Project Management. As a Principal Professional Staff member at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory since 2009, she currently supervises the Health and Human-Machine Systems Group, leading multidisciplinary teams in advanced medical and human performance projects. Her impressive career spans over two decades of government contracting, where she has managed critical projects in transportation security and aircraft collision avoidance. Since July 2023, she has served as the Program Manager for the Engineering Management Program, representing the institution in the Master of Engineering Management Programs Consortium. Her expertise in human-centered design practices and facilitation of collaborative initiatives has contributed significantly to innovation in both academic and practical applications.
