Stacy Doepner-Hove

Ms. Stacy Doepner-Hove is the Director of the Master's in Human Resources and Industrial Relations (MHRIR) program at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management. She oversees both the academic and administrative aspects of one of the nation's top master's programs, ensuring a high-quality educational experience from recruitment through graduation. Ms. Doepner-Hove also teaches courses focused on Employee Development and has previously held the position of Director of Onboarding and Engagement for the University of Minnesota’s Office of Human Resources, where she established a nationally recognized onboarding program.She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History, a Juris Doctor (JD), and a Master of Arts in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota. Ms. Doepner-Hove is actively involved in various professional organizations and has contributed to numerous publications and presentations on topics related to onboarding and employee engagement.On Coursera, she teaches "Recruiting, Hiring, and Onboarding Employees," providing valuable insights into effective human resource practices.
