Sara Remedios

Dr. Sara Remedios, the Associate Dean of Students at Columbia University's School of General Studies, brings a wealth of experience in supporting student success and academic excellence. With a Ph.D. and M.Phil. in English Literature from the City University of New York and a B.A. in English and Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis, Remedios combines academic expertise with practical leadership in student support. In her current role, she directs the Academic Resource Center and oversees all academic and learning initiatives at the School of General Studies. Her background includes restructuring the CUNY Pipeline Honors Program, demonstrating her commitment to assisting underrepresented students in accessing higher education.
