Working under Professor Sean Hill, he leads the development of Blue Brain Nexus, a pioneering platform for managing large-scale neuroscience data. His expertise spans Java development, big data ecosystems, and data integration in life sciences, with particular focus on making software development teams more effective through agile processes. Before his current role, he served as a Senior Data Engineer and ScrumMaster at Jagex in Cambridge, UK, and led the IntAct project at the European Bioinformatics Institute, focusing on proteomics and data standardization. Under his leadership, his team has developed an ecosystem of open-source, domain-agnostic systems for knowledge graph management, supporting data-driven scientific research while maintaining data provenance and enabling semantic search capabilities.
