He holds a Master’s degree in Vehicle Engineering and Transport Management from the Central Institute of Road Transport in Pune, India. Prasanth has played a pivotal role in various electric vehicle projects, previously leading the Design and Development team at an automotive battery pack supplier where he focused on building electric vehicles and high-voltage lithium battery packs for both automotive and non-automotive applications. His professional background also includes working as a Mechanical Design Engineer for a luxury car manufacturer based in Germany, specifically in Powertrain Engineering. Prasanth is certified in electric mobility by several prestigious organizations, including Denso, TUV SUD, and SAE. Beyond his technical expertise, he is actively involved in skill development initiatives with Indian organizations like ASDC and TSDC, serving as a member of the Electric Vehicle Expert Group of ASDC in New Delhi. Additionally, he works as a safety auditor and gap assessor for electric vehicle and battery manufacturing facilities, contributing to safety assessments and protocol development aligned with international standards.
