Dr. Philip J. Currie is a Professor and Canada Research Chair of Dinosaur Paleobiology at the University of Alberta, where he also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Calgary. With a focus on dinosaur growth, variation, and the evolutionary relationships of carnivorous species, his research aims to deepen the understanding of Cretaceous ecosystems in regions such as Dinosaur Park in Canada and Mongolia's Nemegt Formation. A graduate of the University of Toronto and McGill University, Dr. Currie has published extensively, including 170 scientific articles and 15 books, and has received numerous accolades for his contributions to paleontology. He teaches the course Dino 101: Dinosaur Paleobiology, sharing his passion for dinosaurs with a broader audience.
