Pauli Heikkinen

Pauli Heikkinen is the Chief Engineer for the Accelerator Laboratory at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland, where he oversees a facility that hosts four accelerators equipped with various ion sources and advanced instrumentation. With a focus on fundamental research and ion-beam-based material physics, he facilitates access to cutting-edge research facilities for hundreds of scientists from universities, laboratories, and private companies worldwide each year. Pauli teaches courses in Accelerator Physics, Cyclotron Physics, and Accelerator Techniques at the University of Jyväskylä, including the course "Fundamentals of Particle Accelerator Technology" offered on Coursera.
