Dr. Paul Komor is a member of the Research Faculty at the Energy Institute at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he focuses on renewable energy and sustainability. Before joining the university, he served as a Senior Analyst on Energy and Environment for the U.S. Congress and has taught at prestigious institutions such as Princeton and Stanford. Dr. Komor holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Cornell University, as well as both a Master’s and Ph.D. in Engineering from Stanford University. His extensive experience in energy policy and education has made him a prominent figure in the field.At CU Boulder, Dr. Komor teaches courses such as Renewable Energy Futures and Renewable Power and Electricity Systems, where he explores the future of renewable energy technologies and their integration into existing systems. His courses are designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the renewable energy sector. Through his work, Dr. Komor aims to educate the next generation of leaders in energy sustainability, preparing them to address critical issues related to energy production and consumption in a changing world.
