Patricia Werhane is an Adjunct Teaching Professor of Business Administration and the Center for Professional Responsibility Faculty Fellow at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she has been a faculty member since 2016. With a distinguished academic background that includes a BA from Wellesley College and both an MA and PhD in Philosophy from Northwestern University, Werhane has dedicated her career to the study and teaching of business ethics. Prior to her current role, she served as the Wicklander Chair of Business Ethics at DePaul University, where she also managed the Institute for Business and Professional Ethics. A Fulbright Specialist from 2013 to 2018, she has contributed significantly to scholarly discussions on ethical practices in business through her numerous publications, including articles in the Journal of Business Ethics and books addressing global economic ethics and corporate moral agency. Recognized for her leadership in business ethics education, Werhane continues to influence future business leaders through her teaching and research initiatives.
