His diverse career spans academia and entrepreneurship, with experience establishing and developing ventures across Australia, South Africa, and Malaysia. His leadership roles have included Director of the Entrepreneurship, Commercialisation and Innovation Centre, Academic Director of Singapore Operations, Head of the School of Marketing & Management, and Acting Associate Dean Diversity & Inclusion. A qualified accountant and member of multiple professional bodies including Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, CPA Australia, and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, he brings extensive experience in corporate insolvency, venture financing, and family business advisory. His research focuses on business and social entrepreneurship, particularly examining how entrepreneurial thinking can create value and impact in communities. As current President of the Australian Business Deans Council, he continues to shape business education while maintaining his commitment to fostering entrepreneurial culture through initiatives like ThincLab, the University's integrated new venture incubation platform.
