Neil Thawani

Neil Thawani is a dedicated software engineer and educator with a strong focus on K-12 STEAM and computing education. With over 15 years of experience in the tech industry, he currently teaches several online courses at Codio, including Machine Learning for Marketers, Angular for Front End Engineers, Introduction to VueJS Framework, and RESTful MVC Architecture. Neil holds a Master's degree in Educational Technology & Applied Learning Science from Carnegie Mellon University, which informs his approach to integrating engineering practices with educational methodologies. He is passionate about mentoring students and educators, striving to build equitable relationships within educational ecosystems. Neil is also developing Row School, an online academy aimed at equipping K-12 teachers with essential skills for teaching computer science and other vital competencies for the 21st century.
