Michael Scharf

Michael Scharf is the Interim Dean and the Joseph C. Hostetler – Baker & Hostetler Professor of Law at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He is a prominent figure in media discussions and has authored sixteen books, three of which have received national book of the year awards. During the administrations of Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton, Scharf worked in the Office of the Legal Adviser at the U.S. Department of State, serving as Attorney-Adviser for Law Enforcement and Intelligence, Attorney-Adviser for United Nations Affairs, and as a delegate to the United Nations Human Rights Commission.
