Martin Debbané is a Professeur Ordinaire at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Geneva, and he also serves as a Professor of Psychopathology at the Department of Research in Clinical, Educational, and Health Psychology at University College London. His clinical expertise as a psychodynamic psychotherapist focuses on Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT), where he acts as a trainer, supervisor, and practitioner. Alongside Professor Mario Speranza, he co-founded the Francophone Network for Mentalization-Based Therapies (RF-TBM). Dr. Debbané's research team investigates the development of childhood psychopathology into adulthood, integrating clinical, experimental, and developmental psychology methods, as well as neuroscientific research to enhance understanding of psychopathology and mental health. He teaches courses such as "A Life with ADHD" and offers various courses in French related to autism spectrum disorders and mentalization.
