Margaret Wooldridge, Ph.D.

Professor Margaret Wooldridge is an Arthur F. Thurnau Professor in the Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan. She holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Stanford University and is an expert in high-temperature chemically reacting systems, nanomaterial synthesis, fuel chemistry, and propulsion systems. Wooldridge is a distinguished fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), recognized for groundbreaking research and education achievements.
