Professor Marco Brambilla is a full professor at Politecnico di Milano, where he focuses on research and innovation in data science, software modeling languages, design patterns, crowdsourcing, social media monitoring, and big data analysis. He has held visiting researcher positions at CISCO in San José and the University of California, San Diego, and has served as a visiting professor at Dauphine University in Paris. As the founder of the startup Fluxedo, which specializes in social media analysis, and the company WebRatio, dedicated to software modeling tools, Dr. Brambilla has authored over 200 research papers and books, earning various best paper awards. He is actively involved in data-driven innovation projects and has contributed to the OMG standard IFML. Additionally, he is an associate editor for several journals and has chaired numerous conferences and workshops.
