Dr. Marc Brackett is the founding director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence (YCEI) and a professor in the Child Study Center at the Yale School of Medicine. He has dedicated over 20 years to researching the role of emotions and emotional intelligence in various domains, including learning, decision-making, creativity, relationships, health, and performance.Dr. Brackett is the lead developer of RULER, an evidence-based approach to social and emotional learning that has been implemented in nearly 2,500 pre-K to high schools across the United States and internationally. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL).
