A composer, performer, and new-media artist with a PhD in Composition from the University of Adelaide, he specializes in creating innovative works that challenge traditional interactions between technology and music. His research investigates digital media interaction and technology's influence on cultural experiences, while his creative work spans composition, performance, and sound art installations. As Director of the Centre for Aboriginal Studies in Music, he contributes to diverse musical traditions while teaching Sonic Arts at the Elder Conservatorium. His international presence includes performances and presentations in London, Paris, and Montreal, establishing him as a significant voice in contemporary digital music creation. Through his role as an associate artist with the Australian Music Centre and his leadership of the Music Technology Foundations MOOC on edX, he continues to push boundaries in the intersection of technology and creative practice.
