Loudon Stearns is an Associate Professor in the Contemporary Writing and Production department at Berklee College of Music, where he equips students with the skills to become self-sufficient music producers in today's technology-driven industry. With a background in programming and engineering, Loudon has developed a unique perspective on music that integrates technology with creative expression. He teaches courses such as Advanced Music Production with Ableton Live and Composing and Producing Electronic Music, sharing his expertise through both in-person classes and online platforms. As an active media artist, he has authored a Massive Open Online Course on music production, providing accessible education to thousands of students worldwide. Loudon's commitment to innovation is further reflected in his role as co-founder of "WIND," a platform for custom wavetable synthesis. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Contemporary Writing and Production and Bass Performance from Berklee and an MFA in Media Art from Emerson College. Through his dynamic teaching approach and passion for technology, Loudon continues to inspire the next generation of musicians and producers.
