Liu Jing

Jing Liu has served as an Assistant Professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University since 2014. Her academic background includes a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from Tongji University, an MSc in Materials Science from Loughborough University (UK), and a PhD also from Loughborough University (2012), where she subsequently completed postdoctoral research. Her research expertise has evolved from nano ceramics and metal-ceramic composites to focus on heterogeneous catalysis and electrocatalysis. At Shanghai Jiao Tong University, she contributes to advancing understanding of catalytic materials and their applications. Her work bridges fundamental materials science with practical applications in catalysis, particularly focusing on the development and characterization of advanced materials for catalytic processes. Her transition from ceramic materials to catalysis research demonstrates her adaptability and commitment to addressing contemporary challenges in materials science.
