Lise Lotte Gluud

Prof. Lise Lotte Gluud is a distinguished consultant gastroenterologist and professor at the University of Copenhagen, where she has been instrumental in advancing research and clinical practice in gastroenterology and hepatology. She graduated in 1995 and completed her clinical training in 1998, followed by an MSc focused on evaluating bias in clinical intervention research in 2005. Prof. Gluud has served as a consultant at various prestigious institutions, including Gentofte University Hospital and Copenhagen University Hospital Hvidovre, where she specializes in liver diseases, particularly non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and cirrhosis-related complications. She holds several significant positions, including chairing the National Clinical Guideline for NAFLD management and being a member of the National Committee on Health Research Ethics. With extensive contributions to medical literature, she also serves as an editor for multiple scientific journals and committees related to gastroenterology and hepatology.
