Laura Ewing

Dr. Laura Ewing, with a PhD in Rhetoric and Composition Theory from the University of South Florida, brings over two decades of experience in teaching literacy, communication, and writing studies. Having taught since 2003, she is passionate about helping students enhance their writing and communication skills. Outside of the classroom, Laura enjoys outdoor activities like SCUBA diving, paddleboarding, kayaking, and hiking with her family and her Formosan Mountain Dog, Mario. A lifelong fan of science fiction, she has a particular love for Star Wars, which reflects her enthusiasm for storytelling and narrative in both academic and personal pursuits.
