The Linux FoundationLarry Peterson is a distinguished computer scientist and educator with a career spanning over four decades. As the Robert E. Kahn Professor of Computer Science, Emeritus at Princeton University, he served as department chair from 2003 to 2009. Peterson's research focuses on the design, implementation, and operation of Internet-scale distributed systems, with notable contributions including the widely used PlanetLab and MeasurementLab platforms. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Purdue University in 1985 and has since made significant impacts in networking and distributed systems research.
