Kim, Nack Joon

Kim, Nack Joon is a prominent professor at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) and the head of the Microstructure Control Laboratory within the Graduate Institute of Ferrous and Eco Materials Technology (GIFT). He earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of California, Berkeley, after completing both his B.S. and M.S. in Metallurgical Engineering at Seoul National University. With a distinguished career spanning several decades, Kim has held significant positions, including President of the Korean Institute of Metals and Materials and Director of the Center for Advanced Aerospace Materials.
