Kevin Werbach is a prominent professor of Legal Studies and Business Ethics at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, recognized for his expertise in the business, legal, and social implications of emerging technologies such as broadband, big data, and blockchain. With over two decades of experience at the intersection of the Internet, digital media, and communications, he has made significant contributions to technology policy. Werbach served on the Obama Administration’s Presidential Transition Team and was instrumental in shaping U.S. internet policy during the Clinton Administration as Counsel for New Technology Policy at the Federal Communications Commission. He founded the Supernova Group, a technology consulting firm that organizes high-level technology conferences. Additionally, he created one of the most successful massive open online courses, attracting nearly half a million enrollments.
