Jusuke JJ Ikegami

Jusuke JJ Ikegami serves as Professor and Dean of Waseda Business School, where he brings extensive corporate and academic experience to his role. After earning his MA from the University of Kent at Canterbury, MBA from Cambridge's Judge Business School, and DBA from Hitotsubashi University, he built a diverse career spanning consulting at Boston Consulting Group, brand management at Mars Japan, and venture capital leadership at Nissay Capital. His research focuses on corporate strategy, global management, and leadership development, particularly in cross-cultural contexts. He has authored significant works including "Resolute Japan" which examines Japanese corporate resurgence through interviews with over 100 CEOs. As Director of Waseda Blue Ocean Shift Institute and Deputy Director of Global Strategic Leadership Institute, he leads various global executive programs in collaboration with prestigious institutions like IMD, Wharton, and HEC. His expertise extends beyond academia through his service on multiple government ministry committees and his role as an independent director at Toyo Inc SC Holdings, making him a prominent figure in both business education and corporate governance in Japan.
