Dr. Jung Choi serves as the Associate Dean for Global and Intercultural Formation and is the Director of the Asian House of Studies at Duke Divinity School. With a Th.D. from Duke, she is committed to expanding access to theological education and fostering diverse dialogues within the church community. Her scholarly interests include the theology and practice of Christian leadership, Asian American theology, and ecumenical engagement. Dr. Choi has worked with various student groups, implementing innovative pedagogies that enhance learning experiences. She leads initiatives such as the "Rediscovering the Heart of Methodism" project, aimed at equipping future pastors and current leaders in the Methodist tradition. Additionally, she is involved in international ecumenical dialogues through her participation in the Methodist-Roman Catholic International Commission. Dr. Choi's dedication to inclusivity and her focus on addressing contemporary issues of race, gender, and power in theology make her a vital contributor to both academic scholarship and church ministry.
