A/Prof. Judith McKenzie is a member of the Disability Studies Division at the University of Cape Town within the Department of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. She serves as the principal investigator for the Teacher Empowerment for Disability Inclusion (TEDI) project, which aims to improve educational access and quality for children with disabilities. With over 20 years of experience in inclusive education, her personal journey as the mother of a young man with Down Syndrome fuels her commitment to disability advocacy both professionally and personally.
